I worked under an Electrical Engineer designing PCB schematics and containers that houses them. PCB schematics were designed using OrCAD software and the containers were made in AutoCAD. We worked on two products the 1Net™ SATM and 1Net™ Embedded Tablets. SATM provides real time information about the plane everything from speed to door status. I assisted in choosing electronic components for the PCB and designed the aluminum housing. I also soldered components under a microscope, assembled the wires, and put all the components in its aluminum housing ready for testing. The 1Net™ Embedded Tablet is an informational and entertainment gadget placed on the back of every commercial airplane seat. Providing the users with detailed information about their flight, games, and movies. I helped design the PCB schematic with the use of OrCAD and DigiKeys to pick the right parts for the Tablet.
